My name is Nicola Meyers. I reside in Vancouver, British Columbia. Shopping has always been a favorite hobby of mine!;-) Wedding dress shopping is the ultimate hunting trip as far as shopping goes.

My fascination for wedding dresses started with the fairy tale of Cinderella. The dress was glittery and flowing, everything a wedding dress should be. Of course, it was for a future princess. Something every little girl dreams about being at some point!

Then there was the dress-up box in kindergarten. My favorite of course was the white wedding dress and sparkling tiara. With matching clear plastic pumps that also had sparkles in them. (five year olds usually have a thing for glitter!) The purple fuzzy boa was a brazen fashion statement to wear with it, but for a five year old; it matched splendidly.

To solidify my love of satin and taffeta: it was the eighties after all, along with millions of others I watched Lady Diana Spencer wed Prince Charles and become "Princess Diana." It was the wedding of the century. What an incredible dress! The embroidery alone took countless hours to create. That's when I started buying books that were wedding related. The first one I bought was about Princess Diana with lots of wedding pics in it. Then bridal magazines came next, and lots of them. Pastel colors seem to be quite prevelant, I remember falling absolutely in love with a very pastel pink wedding dress. Gorgeous!

I have had a lot of fun creating this site, I look forward to continually adding to it to help you along in your quest for the perfect wedding dress. I'd also love to see pictures of you on your special day, in your special dress.
