Beautiful Bridal Gown

Perfect bridal gown A marriage proposal is probably one of the most exciting things to happen to a girl. She dates and waits and hopes and finally he pops the question and presents the engagement ring. Then the planning can begin. Planning a wedding can be so fun and thrilling for the bride-to-be. But undoubtedly the crowing part of the entire affair, the one all eyes will be on is the girl in the beautiful bridal gown.

Each bride probably has some idea about what kind of gown she wants to march down the aisle in. Gowns come in all sorts of styles and sizes. She needs to determine a few things before choosing her perfect gown. First the theme of the wedding. Will it be formal? Casual? Outside? Cowboy? Fun? Fancy? Time period such as roaring twenties or plantation. As far as the theme can go, the sky's the limit. You can watch those bride shows on TV to know this. One of my favorites is say yes to the dress.

Once the theme of the wedding is set then the quest for the perfect wedding gown should commence. A smart bride will shop according to her shape and find a bridal gown that will accentuate her finest features. Below are suggestions for finding the perfect gown according to your shape:

* Apple-Shaped. This works well with gowns that cinch at the waistline then fans out toward the feet. A gown with a bodice that has snug fitting lace with a V neckline helps to draw the eyes vertically.

* Busty. Busty gals do well with scooped necklines. Strapless works well, choose a sweetheart neckline. Stay away from shiny fabrics, as they tend to bring more attention to the areas you wish to diminish.

* Pear-Shaped. You need a dress that will fan out toward the feet to draw attention away from the hip and thigh area. The bodice should be a V-neck or even spaghetti-straps.

* Petite. You're in luck, a petite girl looks good in a number of different styles such as an A-line, sheath or even trumpet. Find one that has a high waistline. Nice shiny or high sheen fabrics look good. Make sure to keep all other details at a minimum.

* Plus-Sized. A floor length A-line or an Empire dress with a high waist line that is pushed to just under the bust. Make sure it's well-fitting to keep a slender look.

* Small-Chested. Smaller girls do well with a ruched bodice, because the extra fabric on the chest will make it appear full. A padded halter top type does well too. Wear with a push-up bra.

* Straight-Lined. A sheath dress in a flowing material that has been cut on the bias will accentuate your curves. Ball gowns do well especially if they cinch at the normal waist line then flows into a full skirt to the floor.

* Tall. Tall ladies do well to wear a simple dress. Simple takes the eyes off the dress and puts it on the star of the show, you. If you go floor length, make sure it's floor sweeping. Emphasize what makes you unique. Whichever bridal gown you choose, just make sure it emphasizes your best features and makes you shine on that very special day. By keeping the above suggestions in mind you will still have a lot of choices in finding the perfect wedding dress.
