It's such a feminine soft romantic fabric. It is a special occassion fabric, so it's perfect for a wedding gown. I remember making my daughter Alisha a princess costume for halloween out of real silk one year, someone had an abundance of it and had given it to me. To this day it is my favorite dress I ever made her. It just seemed so much more realistic and regal being made out of pure silk. Unfortunately it got lost in one of our moves. That's okay though, because Corbin my six year old would have likely never wanted to wear it as a costume :-) I hope not anyway.
